Happy mistakes. Once in a while something goes wrong but leaves you with pleasing results. I think the sun was shining directly from the right and created a glare across the lens. I like it!

It’s funny how I often don’t notice things until I download the picture from my camera. I was admiring the date and other info cut out of the barnboards and didn’t even notice the turkey vulture perched on top of the barn! Love that little red door too!

I had gathered these leaves to try to do something creative with them a little later. I set them down on this log to take a photo of the surrounding area. There was this really cool ground cover that was creating a misty feel to the ground. Those photos didn’t capture what my eye was seeing but the leaves sliding off the log looked pretty good!

It figures. Out for a walk in the woods with just my kit lens on the camera and I see this guy in a tree in the distance. Quickly put on my telephoto lens and snapped the pic just before he scampered away.
